Today’s Top Recipe is... Desi Naan.
So here is a step-by-step guide to this recipe!
Ingredients:
1. Plain Flour 2 Cups
2. Yogurt 1/2 Cup
3. Baking Soda 1/2 tsp
4. Sugar 1/2 tsp
5. Salt 1/2 tsp
6. Oil 2 tbsp
7. Warm Water as required
Instructions:
1. First mix the plain flour, sugar, salt, baking powder.
2. Then add the wet ingredients to make the dough.
3. After making the dough, put it in an air-tight container and let it set for about 3-4 hours or overnight.
4. Then, take the dough, and roll it out to make the right shape, while keeping in mind that it should be thick.
5. Spread water on side of the naan which you will put on the pan.
6. Then put it on a steel pan.
7. After it has been put on the pan for sometime, flip the pan upside down so that the naan touches the flames directly, doing this for just a few seconds.
8. After that you can take the naan and serve it directly, or top it with some butter.
